A graduate of Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Terry H. Clarke works as president and owner of Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Pennsylvania in Mechanicsburg. When not in the office, Dr. Terry H. Clarke supports several charitable endeavors, including the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA).
Advocating for animals since 1867, the PSPCA protects animals, improves their health and quality of life, and prevents animal cruelty within the state of Pennsylvania. It was the second humane organization established in the country, and is the largest in the state. An independent organization, the PSPCA found forever homes for more than 4,600 animals in 2015.
Since it is a nonprofit organization, PSPCA sponsors a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. The PSPCA partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka on October 16, 2016, hosting Tito’s Vodka Dog Yappy Hour at Morgan’s Pier. Attendees had an opportunity to enjoy a specialty cocktail, enter their dog in the Worst of Show competition, and win giveaways. They also had a chance to adopt dogs at the event.
